Getting it right with Santa, a youngster chats with the Chief Elf as the Academy Optimist Club in Colorado Springs, in conjunction with the Cog Railway, hosted the Santa Train for fun and Holiday Festivities for the third year. Club members, dress in Santa Workshop costumes, entertain the children and their families as they ride the Cog singing songs, enjoying cookies and hot chocolate, while the splendor of Pikes Peak unfolds around them.

Boulder brrrrr. George Ackerman, black and blue trunks, of the Boulder Club took the frigid plunge at the Boulder Reservoir Dec. 5 in a fundraiser for Special Olympics. The event raised some $75,000.
